Ghetto Cooking: A Cauliflower, Spinach, and Meat Dish

Ingredients: Spices

Spices are listed first to make sure you have them in your cupboard.

  • Red chilly powder. 1 tablespoon.
  • Coriander powder. 1 table spoon.
  • Turmeric powder. 1 table spoon.
  • Salt. Depends on your preferences.

Ingredients: The rest of the essentials

  • Cauliflower, cut into little pieces, the size of your thumb or so.
  • Spinach, cut into vertically tiny pieces. Helps with making it tastier.
  • Onion-ginger-garlic paste. You could whip this up by blending a small onion
  • A handful of meat, cut into little, arbitrary bits. Yes, we will use the word arbitrary in the ghetto instruction set.
  • A diced tomato.
  • Green chillies cut into tiny bits. Amount depends on your spice-handling levels.
  • Frying oil.


  1. Cook the meat with all the spices and the onion-ginger-garlic paste.
  2. When the meat is tender and properly cooked, add in the spinach. Stir! Add in the cauliflower cuts too and stir! Take your bad day out on those veggies!
  3. After the spinach sits and reduces in size, add the diced tomatoes. You want to wait until the tomatoes are crushed.
  4. Add in some and frying oil. Cover on low heat until that oil visibly separates from the rest of the food.

Bam, serve with rice!
