I spent thousands of dollars hiring freelancers on Upwork

Context: We were tasked to help build a demo web application and demo mobile application that manage car rentals. During the development of the applications, our primary developer who was overseas ghosted us after building a barebones, functioning web and mobile app.

The client still had several feature requests and the applications had several bugs. We turned to contract-level gigs on LinkedIn and then freelancers on Upwork.
